The Helmets are a group of 12 friends who are riding from John O'Groats to Lands End on mopeds and scooters (1000 miles in 4 days) in April 2014. The purpose of the trip is to raise a MASSIVE amount of money for Louie's S.M.l.L.E.S whilst having a bloody good time along the way.

Louie's S.M.I.L.E.S is a recently registered local charityestarted in memory of Louie, a schoolfriend of my daughter. Louie sadly passed away at the age of 10 to a rare form of cnacer. His family decided to raise money to buy gifts of toys/games/books etc for the children's wards of Salisbury District Hospital and Southampton General Hospital, where Louie spent a lot of time, to give to the children every time they endure their various treatments.
