Story
Over 95,000 babies are born premature or sick, each year. 'Bliss' are a charity who fight to improve the outcomes for these vulnerable babies. They support parents to care for their babies, campaigning for better neonatal care and enabling life-changing research.
As both a neonatal nurse and a mother whose baby required neonatal care, I know first-hand, the necessity to provide care and support to both
babies and families. I know how tirelessly the doctors and nurses work, to ensure we provide the best care possible, to give each and every baby the chance to survive. For this reason, Bliss is so close to my heart
and the reason why I have chosen to fundraise for them, to help make a
difference.
Friday 17th November is 'World Prematurity Day'. This year, during the evening, I will be hosting a 'Little lights walk', to light up the night with lanterns, candles, glow sticks and lights in order to celebrate and remember these amazing babies whilst promoting our cause to the wider community.
It would be great if you could join me with your family
and friends, in which case, please message me for details. However, should you not be able to make it, every donation is important to us.
Each donation that's made, helps to bring Bliss closer to ensuring that every baby born premature or sick in the UK, has the best chance
of survival and quality of life. So,
please dig deep and support this amazing charity!
