A few years ago I was diagnosed with CVID (amongst many other fun things) and it totally changed my life. As much as it all seemed to finally make sense the fact I was always too sick to go to school, I was always being put on antibiotics etc it came with so many new problems. I had to very quickly get over my fear of needles as needles became a weekly thing, I started my treatment which came with awful side effects, I still lose about 7 days per month due to this illness & the side effects from treatments. 

My main reason for doing this is I would love to help find a cure for this illness by aiding important research. As a grown woman I have found this so tough to deal with but one day I will have children of my own and as this is genetic I would like to help create a better future for them in terms of treatment. 

I am representing Birmingham in Miss European International on 11th November 2018 my goal is to reach £500 by the end of November. I want to use this opportunity as a platform to raise the profile of this illness and the important fundraising required. I would love if any of my friends can attend the event and support me and also donate if you can whatever you can!
