Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am an Inspector with the RSPCA and I work on the front line attending calls from the public reporting cruelty or suffering caused to animals in the Staffordshire and West Midlands areas.
Although it can be extremely upsetting and stressful at times, I truly love my job, and I am proud of the work my colleagues and I do to intervene and improve the lives of thousands of animals each and every year.
I rescued the two dogs in my picture from a puppy farm last year. They were found with other puppies confined in filthy cages stacked on top of each other in a freezing cold shed. They were seriously ill and needed intensive veterinary nursing to ensure their recovery. As you can see they are now fit and well and they have been rehomed with loving families.
The RSPCA receives no government funding at all, and is therefore totally reliant on the kindness of people just like you, who put their hands in their pockets and donate whatever they can.
I am running the Bupa Great Birmingham Run this year and thought this would be an ideal opportunity to try and raise a little money.
If you can, please donate.
Help us to continue to provide a voice for the voiceless.
Thank you xx
