For 35 years, St Luke’s has been providing free of charge specialist palliative care and support for people in mid & south Cheshire living with life limiting illnesses. Our support begins from the moment someone is diagnosed, through to palliative care and then ultimately end of life care.

Story

The end of this month marks 10 years with out my beautiful mum. I miss her every day, but I want to turn this painful anniversary in to a positive by raising as much money as possible for St Luke’s Hospice, who cared for mum during her battle with cancer.

On the 29th March, we’re going to broadcast the Signal 1 breakfast show live from St Luke’s hospice, to remember my mum and raise awareness of the wonderful care this charity provides.

St Luke’s need more than £8,000 a day to stay open and look after our loved ones during their time of need. We’ve all been impacted by cancer, and to have some of the physical and mental pain alleviated is priceless. If you can spare any amount, no matter how small, I’d be so grateful. Let’s help them, to help us.

Lots of love, Emma X
