I am raising money this month with my first attempt ever at growing a moustache. The money raised will be donated to Sheffield’s Children’s hospital to say thank you for all they have done to help my Nephew over the last few years and also through my own youth.
In 2009 my 3 year old Nephew Dylan, was diagnosed with bladder cancer, this came as one of the most heart sinking moments an uncle can have.
Thanks to the people at Sheffield’s Children’s hospital, and staff at ProCure Proton Therapy Centre in Oklahoma, America. My Nephew is currently in remission and has been cancer free for over a year, after long periods of chemo and proton therapy.
I’m hoping to raise a token gesture of £250+ to help other families who are struggling with their own cancer illness and to wish them all the best in their fight to beat it.
It takes just a few minutes to type a text or follow the link to the website. £1…£5…£20 it’s up to you. Every penny counts, we all know someone who’s fighting cancer or who have lost the fight, celebrities, friends, families. A helping hand is always greatly appreciated and we couldn’t have ever afforded the £100,000s it costs to fight this illness and get the best treatment available at Dylans age .
Hopefully with as much help as we can muster it might give others the chance like Dylan, to receive the treatment they need in specialist places around the world. Many thanks to all donators and I will continue to update my picture as the tash progresses :-)
