Each year in the UK over 3000 babies die before their first birthday and 1 in 30 are born with a condition which may affect them for life.

Sparks fund life-saving research into conditions affecting babies, children and mums-to-be.

In a few months I will be doing a SKYDIVE for charity this life saving charity Sparks!

I am a student Midwife currently half way through my training, after working with women, their newborns and families this charity is close to my heart. 

I believe it will be to you too, are you a Mother? a Father? a Sister or Brother? this charity helps to impact on everyones lives.

I have just finished a four week placement on NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) the work these nurses do and what can be achieved today is AMAZING!. . .  but this isn't enough.

 

There are still conditions and situations we don't understand.

 

With your help we can build a better future, a better chance for these women and their children, Helping more babies be born healthy and stay healthy.
