The Wales Air Ambulance Charity provides advanced life-saving emergency care for everyone in Wales, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are a ‘mobile emergency department’ that relies entirely on donations to keep our helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road.

Story

I'm a 62 year old mother of 5 with 3 grandchildren. I work with the Chaplaincy team at Morriston Hospital, where I have had the privilege of meeting many people who have been brought in by Air Ambulance. This has resulted in saving many lives. They do tremendous work and need all the support they can get. I am also closely connected with my local Church, St Michael's in Loughor, Swansea. Structurally, St Michael's needs regular maintenance which is costly and these repairs very much rely on the kind and charitable donations from people such as you.

One of my ambitions in life was always to do a Skydive and felt doing it for a great Charity such as Air Ambulance and my local Church, St Michaels, was the perfect reason for doing so.

The jump will take place on the 12th of May 2012 at Swansea Airport.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and thank you also for your very kind donation.
