Thanks for taking the time to visit my mother Jeanne who died on the 17th December 2019 tribute JustGiving page for The Merchant Navy Association.

Jeanne was involved with the Merchant Navy Association through her husband (my father) Tony for many years and she has enjoyed attending both local and national and events and the regional monthly meetings with him until very recently, although she never became an associate member, they always treated her as such. The members of the Bristol branch have supported her and Tony throughout this last two years and her battle with cancer.  They were a great comfort to both Jeanne and Tony through this difficult time and have been a huge part of Jeanne's life. 

Jeanne's whole life has been about caring for others, which included close family relatives as well as friends and neighbours, she always put others needs above her own and by donating to either The Merchant Navy Association or Ehlers-Danlos Support UK,  you will be honouring her memory by supporting these causes that she deeply cared about and ultimately benefiting others, whilst continuing what was important to her. Jeanne never looked for recognition for what she did for others - it was a selfless act and therefore a huge floral tribute to her life which will die with her, would benefit no one and would go against everything her life stood for.
