After a 2-year hiatus due to COVID, I am running another marathon, this time in Chicago.  I will once again be raising money for Autistica, a charity very close to my heart and one that I have been closely involved with for some time.  In addition to the important research Autistica continues to fund, their advocacy and policy work, on initiatives backed by good science, has helped put that research into action and had very positive impact here-and-now for autistic people in the UK and beyond.

Autistica is the UK’s national autism research charity. We focus on giving autistic people the opportunity to live long, happy, healthy lives. We do this by funding research, shaping policy and working with autistic people to understand their needs.
