Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Julian Cook and his daughter Jemima are giving up their home comforts to sleep on the streets of Bristol on Friday 5th October in order to raise money for Action for Children. The charity helps vulnerable, neglected and abused children and young people as well as their families. They also help children with disabilities and aim to combat youth homelessness.
Every year, 83,000 young people in the UK find themselves without a place to stay. Your donations and support will go towards helping to prevent youth homelessness and will allow Action for Children to continue to help thousands of young people to build better lives by providing essential support, accommodation, education and training.
Having volunteered for several years as part of the Soup Run
team in Bristol, we are only too aware of how real the problem of homelessness is in and around the very streets we work and live. We have had first hand experience of how young people from all walks of life can fall upon hard times and need our help.
Can you please help Jemima and I to help them?
Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
