I have chosen this charity because I am part of the Keynsham Mencap community and volunteer for them every week. I have helped out on many day trips and holidays that have all been amazing experiences. 

I first joined Mencap to gain some experience for my university course and didn't really know what to expect. Now ,I couldn't imagine my life without everyone I have met. The joy it brings to myself, the members and all the other volunteers is unexplainable. 

Mencap has a central role of creating friendships, trust, love and fun. As some would say, the purpose of life is to help others.
