Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
So, I may be a little bit crazy, but I'm taking up the challenge of Tough Mudder Classic on Sunday 8th September 2019, inspired by my lovely friends at Bramah Fitness.
The event will take place at Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire, whereby I will be running 8-10 miles completing 25 obstacles along the way, whilst getting absolutely soaked and covered from head to toe in mud. The challenge is expected to take between 3-6 hours to complete.
I have obstacles with names such as Mudderhorn, Hydrophobia, Entrapment and Leap of Faith and 21 others to look forward to. I believe the last obstacle is some form of electricution...sounds like fun hey?
For those that know me well, you will know that taking part in this challenge is my worst nightmare...I hate mud and I panic at the thought of going under water! (What I actually mean is...what are my hair and nails going to look like after spending a day in mud and water???)
I signed up to Tough Mudder to give myself a fitness goal to work towards and to gain a personal achievement. I want to be able to say I DID IT!! I AM A TOUGH MUDDER FINISHER!
I am nowhere near my fittest or strongest but I am determined and I WILL complete it!
Please help me make this challenge worthwhile by supporting me in raising money for Wipe Your Tears, a fantastic local children's charity who help children who are seriously and terminally ill or involved in domestic abuse.
Knowing I'm not just completing Tough Mudder for my own personal achievement, but raising money for this worthy charity will definately spur me over the finish line.
Here's to me completing what is 'probably the toughest event on the planet!'
