Friends of Vispa exists to support VisPa school and orphanage in Kisumu Kenya. Through physical, emotional and spiritual provision, FOV seeks to provide a safe, loving environment in which these kids may thrive and reach their potential. Having had the privilege to visit these children, I have been overwhelmed and humbled by their enthusiasm for education, their warmth and joy in the setting of such poverty, and the challenge of what we can do to help them. This summer, some small building projects are planned to essentially make life easier for the children. Improving their environment to make normal tasks of daily living and of course studying easier. Our 3 day hike challenge seeks to raise both awareness and funds for the work this summer. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated, either in joining us in the hike or sponsoring those taking part! Thank you very much!
