Help Jenna help animals in Luxor Egypt · 18 January 2019
Animals play a big role in the lives of many Egyptian people and are used as part of their work e.g. Horses or donkeys pulling carts. Unfortunately due to the lack of tourism and money in the country at the moment many people are not able to afford to keep these animals in good health. ACE do an amazing job with providing help, support and education to the locals so that they can keep their animals healthy and working.
Here is a link to a video showing the many things that they do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7w9NXaA_d9A

Having recently been on hoiday in Egypt I got to see first hand the sad reality of the lives of many animals that are suffering on the street. There were also many many stray cats and dogs living and feeding from rubbish piles. When I got home I researched how I could help and that's how I found ACE.
I have decided to go and be a General Volunteer for six weeks in Jaunary 2019 with this charity and have kindly been offered a placement with them. For those of you who know me well you will know that firstly this is something that I have always wanted to be involved in and secondly this is a very brave decission for me to have made.
I am paying for my own flight and food while I am out there but I just need a little help in raising some money to help ACE carry on doing the fantastic work they do. So, any donations you feel you can give will be very welcome! Watch this space for more fundraising ideas.
