On 9th November 2018 our beautiful loving mum, our rock, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer.  This has changed our lives forever. 

How can this happen to our mum, a non smoker, non drinker, healthy 67 year old mother to three daughters, devoted wife to our amazing dad whom shes been with since she was 15 and who is a totally adored grandmother to 4 grandchildren. 

After this awful disease decided it was going to become an addition to our family we have had to learn so much about it, and quickly. 

Shockingly over the last decade, less than one percent of UK cancer research spend has been directed towards pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer needs bold investment to transform the future and to deliver the step change that can alter the outcome for those diagnosed with this devastating disease.

 1 in 53 UK males and 1 in 57 UK females will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in their lifetime. 31% of pancreatic cancer cases in the UK are preventable.
