I'm thrilled to be raising money for Sue Ryder as their Leckhampton Court in Gloucestershire provided a wonderful place for both my mum and dad's last few days of life. The nurses do a fantastic job in caring for the patient and their families, offering private rooms and round-the-clock personalised care. 

The best things the hospice did for me was: 1) setting up a camp-bed for me to be able to live in the hospice with my mum for the last week of her life, and 2) following our wishes to keep my dad fully sedated during his time in the hospice (we decided this would be the next best thing to assisted suicide which is what he wanted to end the pain).

It's hard to fully explain how much of a difference it makes to have access to a hospice vs a hospital with restricted visiting hours when a member of your family has only days left to live. And it is donations that make this possible so please give whatever you can!
