On Tuesday 8th of March my Jenny passed away in peace.

Jenny has been poorly for a number of years and passed away at only 64. The last few years have been really hard on Jenny, me and my boys, but one thing that has helped is Crossroads Care, who are and have been there for us. We had Claire coming round every Thursday to sit with Jen while I went out; she would do our washing, make Jenny a sandwich and even paint her nails which made her smile. Liz, Donna and Sharon used to stay at night so I could get some sleep knowing Jenny was in safe hands. Then there's Leanne and Katie at the office always on the end of a phone with. I remember last year when Jenny was quite poorly Crossroads helped us by letting Claire come round everyday to support us, plus the girls came in the evenings so we could both have a sleep.

They are my emergency service, my angels and as a charity have never cost me or Jenny a penny.

I love those girls and so did Jenny.
