RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR KIND DONATIONS AND I HOPE YOU CONSIDER A PARACHUTE JUMP TO BE A SUITABLE REPLACEMENT FOR THE SWIM! LOVE JEN XXX

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Over the last few months, I've been training hard for the Great North Swim. This is a mile long swim taking place in Lake Windermere on Sunday 5th September.

I'm doing this in aid of the RNLI in memory of my Mum (pictured - she probably wouldn't appreciate my choice of photo) who passed away suddenly last year. The RNLI was her favourite charity, one which she considered tremendously worthy and often overlooked.

My boyfriend Jimmy is also doing the swim. We often go to Devon and Cornwall with friends for a spot of surfing (see picture - sometimes we actually go in the sea!) and we know that the presence of the RNLI at these beaches and hundreds of others in the UK helps ensure not only our safety, but that of all the other thousands of visitors to them every year.

If you are interested to learn more about the amazing work that the RNLI does, please visit their website: http://www.rnli.org.uk.

I really appreciate all your support and kind donations. Please give whatever you can, no matter how much. It all adds up and will really help this brilliant cause.

Thanks and hope to see you soon

Jenny xx
