Reverend David MacFarlane was a much loved husband, father and grandfather. He served for over 35 years as Church of Scotland minister to the communities of Peebles, Eddleston, Lyne and Manor.

Theirworld charity which incorporates the Jennifer Brown Baby Research Laboratory at the Queens Medical Institute at the University of Edinburgh is a cause that is close to the hearts of the MacFarlane family since the stillbirth of our son. 

As a global children's charity, Theirworld is committed to giving the most vulnerable babies, children and young people a brighter further in their world by leading on campaigns to create global change and bring better health and education to the most vulnerable.
