I was considering my next challenge and spontaneously registered to run this marathon. I didn't think it through to be honest and I realise now that the commitment is huge (like the training over winter! 😟). However, as well as being an amazing achievement for myself if I manage not to sustain an injury/give up during the race, it is an opportunity to raise funds for my favourite charity. They support so many other animal charities and carry out vital veterinary work in the most needy places.
