In memory of our mum, Joanne Rice

Jennifer Rice is raising money for Georgia's Children of the World
In memory of Joanne Rice
Manchester based charity set up in memory of Georgia Murray who sadly passed away from a congenital heart condition in 2010, age 19. The charity helps children in poverty to provide clean water, medical support, education and vocational training in remote rural areas and inner city slums of Cambodia

Story

On 19th February 2021, we very tragically and suddenly lost our beautiful mum to an asthma attack and cardiac arrest. No pain has quite compared to that of the past few weeks.

As we lay her to rest on Wednesday 17th March, we ask that instead of contributing flowers for the funeral, donations are made to Georgia’s Children of the World in her memory.

Georgia’s Children is a charity that we all hold very close to our heart and we have made friends for life over the years at events such as G-FEST. We have such fond memories of these events and mum was always one of the last ones partying.

Any donation, big or small, is so very much appreciated. We are sure that mum would have liked us to choose Georgia’s Children as it is such a fantastic cause.

Thank you,

Jen, Dan and the rest of the family xxx
