Story

Hey Guys,

Thank you for taking a look at my just giving page.

With 40 days until the big day, I have potentially foolishly, decided to start training for the Edinburgh Half Marathon, which is 13.1 miles! In doing this, I am aiming to raise as much money as possible for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, who with the amazing service they provide helped to save my Nannys life on Boxing Day last year.

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is an independent charity, that relies solely on donations, that provides a lifesaving, rapid response emergency service to 5 million people across Yorkshire, 365 days a year, costing £7200 each day to keep both air ambulances maintained and in the air.

It really is an incredible charity, and one we certainly shouldn't take for granted.

To check out some of the fantastic work they do check out BBC's Helicopter Heroes - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0087g39  or the Yorkshire Air Ambulance website - http://www.yorkshireairambulance.org.uk/

Please give generously…every little helps, no matter how big or small!

Thank you for all of your help and support!

In the meantime....I need to get my trainers on and get training!

 Jen
