I have been a regular supporter of this charity which helps the poorest people in our world to recognise the signs and then provide treatment for a range of serious but curable diseases such as leprosy. One of the nicest people who regularly came on our cycle rides around the villages in the poorest of Indian states to spread the word of how to recognise leprosy was  Liz Kennedy. Tragically she died suddenly earlier this year, so  a further has been organised to dedicate it to her. The cyclists cover all their own costs, so any money donated goes directly to the doctors and research clinics without any deductions.
