Save the Children exists to help every child reach their full potential. In the UK and around the world, we make sure children stay safe, healthy and keep learning, so they can become who they want to be.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Let me tell you about Juan Carlos Tomassi (Juanca) who is 12 years old. He lives in Venezuela and suffers from a heart disorder that can be easily cured through an easy operation that takes 2 hours in any developed country. Unfortunately he could not travel to a developed country for the operation and was interned in a public hospital where there were energy cuts, no ressources and the hospital was completely overcrowded. Juan Carlos was my friend and is now dead.

I am raising money in the name of Juan Carlos and all the other children in the world who suffer and die simply because they do not have access to things that I take for granted such as running water, electricity, the roof over my head...

Please help me Save the Children and donate now:

£30/€34/$49 can provide clean water to a whole village.

£55/€62/$90 can supply 2 months of plumpy nut high-energy peanut butter to save a severely malnourished child.

£100/€113/$163 can train a health worker.

£566/€638/$922 can help one child survive all of the health threats they could face during the vulnerable first five years.
