Story
On 2 April, I lost my mother to lung cancer. Her last weeks could have been a misery - but Winchester Hospice took her in, cared for her and surrounded her with love. Making sure her remaining time with us passed and ultimately ended in gentleness, communication and peace.
And they cared for us, her family, too. I don’t know how I’d be coping if it wasn’t for them. Everyone who wants this, for themselves and for those who love them, should be able to have it.
So if you could help me raise a bit of cash to make that a bit more likely, and encourage me as I stagger my way along 20km of Southend seafront… well, that makes you special too.
Thank you.
