Last year, Andy ran the half marathon with me, helping me get a PB along the way. Two weeks later he was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. 

The doctors, nurses and volunteers at the Beatson have looked after Andy so well. We are so thankful for their kindness and expertise. We would like to give back in any small way we can, and we appreciate your help.

Andy has kept an amazingly positive attitude through all of the treatments (and kept his fitness up as well). He’s still receiving treatment but finishes his (hopefully) last radiotherapy session two weeks before the Great Scottish Run. We thought we’d round off the year back at the Half Marathon, this time with a lot less cancer.
