I have a love/ hate relationship with running - mostly hate. But in 2014 I have set myself the challenge to make 10k my 'standard' run distance that I hope to do 2 - 3 times a week and build on from there....

So - I am stopping moaning and have been running a longer distance each week with my Sister to reach 10k by May! (currently at 7.5k!)

Also as many of you will know, my lovely auntie died of Breast Cancer in 2012 whilst I was on my honeymoon and for those of you who have lost a loved one suddenly and unexpectedly, you will know that that grief never really goes away. Every time there is a sad charity appeal or story line on TV related to Cancer, it comes back with as fierce and aggressive as ever and I find myself in tears again. 

So this run, and my stopping moaning, is also in memory of my Aunt who would always have told me to just get on with it! :)
