Despite bursting my appendix earlier in the year I am hoping to compete in the gruelling Kepler mountain ultramarathon that takes place on the Kepler Track in Fjordland National Park in the South island of New Zealand.

I am raising money for the Glasgow Southside group of the children's educational charity Woodcraft Folk. I have volunteered for the charity for the past 15 years and see first hand what a difference it can make for children and young people.
