Jethro Menzies is raising money for Cricket Without Boundaries
Story
Hello!
In October I am travelling to Botswana to volunteer with British Charity 'Cricket Without Boundaries' to raise awareness for and ultimately eliminate HIV/AIDS in Africa.The Charity uses cricket matches and training as an opportunity to attract hundreds of children who can then be properly informed about the disease.
The CWB approach also encourages an equality of treatment for all regardless of age, gender or HIV status.Each volunteer on the trip has been asked to raise some money for the charity to make sure the charity leaves a lasting legacy in the areas they visit. Importantly, therefore the money raised does not fund my trip!
