FitzRoy transforms the lives of people with learning disabilities. The people we support are at the heart of everything we do. We work with them wherever they need us, at home or in the community, so we can help them find independence, support, and a voice about things that matter to them.

Story

Julie and I are giving the abseil a go!  We're both apprehensive but after persuading others to do I thought it was only fair to step up!  Julie (foolishly) kindly agreed to join me - and we are doing it for a really fantastic project.  Love4Life is vital for many lonely and isolated adults with learning
disabilities. Through this project they have access to a world of new
relationships, independence and a chance to achieve their goals. This project
is the reason an otherwise lonely man or woman chooses to leave their home, and overcome fears, to join a group. Lots of our members opt for the training and
workshops to learn how to stay safe, apply for jobs, understand digital and
social media, and more. We also provide chaperoned dating, and group outings.
This project means that many people who would otherwise remain stuck and alone, are connected, in touch, growing in confidence, and part of the kind of social networks that form the bedrock of all our lives.
