Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Hopefully you'll be able to support this worthy cause. Donations can be made on this webpage anytime up to midnight this Thursday night 30th Jan. If you're coming to the dance event on Friday 31st then donations can be made on the night. Thanks a million and remember all donations will help.

St Luke's Hospital first opened its doors in 1952. For year's cancer services were under-funded due to lack of Government finances.

In 1981, The Friends of St Luke's was established to help fund new cancer treatment equipment at the hospital.

In the 1990's the hospital, with the help of The Friends, embarked on a major upgrade of all facilities.  Now patients and visitors are pleasantly surprised by the grounds and environment.  The objective of these enhancements was to improve the patient experience and is one which continues today.
