Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In a moment of madness in January, I agreed to run a half marathon. I blame Zoe entirely. And Carol. And Sam. But I was still buzzing from the aftermath of helping the team with 'Crisis at Christmas' and I clearly felt that a 'little run' for a fab cause was utterly achievable. How wrong can someone be?!...very.
The training makes everything hurt, starting with 100mtrs four weeks ago and now I am up to 500mtrs per week! so I am sure I can make it on the day! It is 1200mtrs right? 13 miles would be insane!!!!
BUT! look at what the pain, sweat, and tears can accomplish through the support of others...
I'm running for Crisis because everyone deserves a safe place to call home.
If you agree (I am sure you do) and can spare a little cash, I'll make sure it gets to some people who need it most. I know how this can help the people who need it most. So rather than you, let me take on the aches and pains on your behalf :)
The hardest part right now is asking for money especially with so many worthy causes out there but I have honestly seen how much good that Crisis achieves in reducing homelessness and that comes from the generosity of others, it does make a difference.
So watch this space or even better watch on the day and if you are there shout as loud as you can especially when 'Jim' comes waddling by!
