Jimmy Mizen Walkathon · 29 August 2020

We work with young people, schools, businesses and communities to create the safest spaces for young people to grow up in, driving change across three levels: inspiring individual responsibility; connecting communities and building safe places to turn to. Connected by Forgiveness, Peace and Hope

Story

These boots are made for walking and that's just what they ll do.

Ladies and Gents we are proud to announce the first annual Jimmy Mizen walk-a-thon ( no copyright issues here ).

In aid of the Mizen foundation who's story is below. A group of hero's will be completing the 21 aqueduct challenge, a challenge that's like nothing that has ever been attempted before.

On Saturday the 29th of August, these hero’s will set off from Richmond rugby Club and attempt to cross every bridge along the Thames finishing at Tower Bridge. A challenge that totals in 25 miles walked and 21 bridges crossed. It’s been widely reported that this challenge is harder than a marathon.

Sidcup's youngest and finest were unfortunately unavailable  but don't fear, a fine selection of unhealthy and incredibly mundane human beings will be attempting the challenge instead.

Please do take the time to read the foundation's story and any donation to this cause would be hugely appreciated.
