I’m raising money for Aching Arms as they support women who have lost babies. The charity gave us a special bear after Jim died, and the bear came to represent a sense of hope & future. One of the overwhelming feelings I had when he died was loneliness. I’d never known anyone who’s baby had died. I couldn’t see a way out, couldn’t see how I’d ever live my life again. Jim’s bear represented hope- that someone else had lost a child & survived. 

To give a family a bear in Jim’s memory  costs £10. I am hoping to raise enough to give many other families this sense of hope. I am also hoping to raise awareness of the huge impact of baby loss on the extended family and friends. Like ripples, it affects so many people. It is sadly not talked about as people often don’t know what to say. Thank you for reading this & for your support.
