Story
Hello - and thanks for swinging by.
Myself and triathlon were once once very well acquainted. Back in those good ol' days I'd have felt cheeky asking for you to sponsor me for something I did pretty often, and for fun.
After spending the last few years wrangling two small children and a busy job, I have no such shame. This might only be a short sprint triathlon, but fitting in any training has been major exercise in logistics and willpower.
So it's important that I make it as worth while as possible* That's why I'm raising money for Brandon's young people's summer camps. These amazing residential camps are run once a year for young people with a learning disability or autism. They provide a fantastic opportunity for the youngsters to experience new activities, create lasting friendships, find their independence and most importantly - have fun.
They also provide invaluable respite for their families.
I've been lucky enough to spend time at the camps so you can take my word for it - or take two mins to find out more here https://youtu.be/AITxaddLQA0
It costs around £1,000 for a young person to attend camp for a week. Any amount you can contribute to that will be very gratefully received.
Huge thanks in advance :-)
Jo
*It'll also help console me on the finish line when I realise quite how slow I now am...!
