It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Fielding. Joan passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on 30th September 2022 aged 90 years. She will be forever missed by her loving family and friends. 

Instead of receiving flowers, as per her wishes, donations in Joan's memory may be made to her chosen charity Henshaws, a charity supporting people living with a range of disabilities to achieve their ambitions and to go beyond expectations. 

Henshaws is a charity close to Joan's heart as her late granddaughter, Jessica, was a resident at Henshaws Specialist College in Harrogate, who offer day and residential places for young people aged 16 to 25 with special educational needs and disabilities.
