I am a member of InChorus, the Peebles Community choir and am proud to be going to New York in September to represent Scotland in the worldwide commemoration of the lives lost in the 9/11 atrocities ten years ago.  We have been working hard to raise the necessary funds to travel and stay in New York and I am taking part in a sponsored cycle on Saturday 16 July.  The route is the 66 mile stretch from Bowling in Dumbartonshire along the Forth and Clyde Canal, past the Falkirk Wheel and along the Union Canal to Lochrin Basin in Edinburgh.  I haven't been on my bike since we got Megan, our Border Collie, 9 years ago, but I am determined to give it a go.  Thank you for your support and sponsorship.
