We raise funds for children with cancer to provide days out to create memories

Story

I’m having 12 inches of my hair chopped off on 14 September 2021 so that I can donate this to the Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer or some other reason. At the same time I’d like to raise some money for Alfie’s wish. Alfie was a little boy who Hugo and I met at baby sensory class and who sadly lost his battle with cancer last year.  It is also a charity that a very brave Winchester girl, Lily Lomas, has chosen to support. Lily is 10 and is fighting her very own battle with cancer at the moment.

Alfie Butler was diagnosed with a Brain tumour when he was 8 months old, after a long and brave battle sadly he died on 2nd Jan 2020 at 5 years old. His parents James & Charlotte set up Alfie's Wish as his legacy to help other children with Cancer as they know just how tough it is as a family physically, emotionally and financially. The charity supports children (0-16 yrs) with Cancer in the UK and their families by referrals from CLIC Sargent to send them on family days out to make memories together and cover help towards additional costs.
