We support people with myasthenia and their families, increase public and medical awareness of the condition and raise funds for research and support staff. Our aim is to make life easier for people with myasthenia and their families by providing information, advice and support.

Story

We (that is, Ant & Joe) will be taking part in the "Why Run When You Can Walk" Marathon event on the 17th and 18th April 2009 in memory of our Dad, and to raise lots of money for the Myasthenia Gravis Association. We will be walking all 26.2 miles of the route of the London Marathon so please be generous and sponsor us lots of money!

Myasthenia Gravis is an auto-immune disease which is characterised by fluctuating and sometimes fatal, muscle weakness. It affects all ages and both genders. The charity aims to aid the discovery of improved diagnostic techniques and better treatment - ultimately to find a permanent cure for Myasthenia Gravis and similar disorders of the nerve-muscle junction. http://www.mgauk.org/
