Story
This is the 22nd year of the Scottish Bikeathon - a 26 mile cycle ride which starts in Kingussie, 5 miles from where we live.
Jamie did the first Bikeathon in 1993, aged 7, the next year both Jamie and Oliver (aged 6) did it, and in 1995 Jamie, Oliver and Sam (aged 5) all did it, along with me and Tom. Megan's first Bikeathon was when she was 2 or 3 - on the back of Tom's bike. Over the years since then all 6 of us have done many Bikeathons - between us we've only missed a few.
Anyway, all this time, the Bikeathon has been raising funds for research into blood cancers, including Lymphoma. So this year Tom, Megan and I are doing the Bikeathon on 15th June and we would really like to do a good job at fundraising, in memory of my Mum, Rachel Gilliatt.
