On October 1st I will be taking part in the Cardiff Half Marathon, running 13.1 miles in aid of Faceup Cymru. 

Several years ago my very dear friend Jean  was diagnosed with neck & throat cancer which, not only was terrible news to deal with for Jean, her family and friends, it also required extensive surgery, various types of treatment and months in recovery.

Jean continues to have regular visits to the hospital however the amazing support provide by FACEUP CYMRU to get her through this tough time has been invaluable to her and other patients in a similar situation.

I am hoping to raise some money for this charity so that they can continue and expand the range of support and service they offer patients.
