This time last year I ran the Cardiff Half Marathon to raise money for the Noah's Ark Appeal - and I said that once was enough!!

However, events this year, and the strength I've seen in people, has made me think again & I've decided to set myself another challenge - but upping my game slightly in the hope you will all give as generously this year as you did previously!

So...on September 28th I'm taking part in the Shine Marathon Walk around the streets of London overnight and just a week later, repeating the Cardiff Half Marathon experience. 

I'm certainly not a natural runner, and am still feeling the effects of the half marathon last year in my hip & legs, but feel that having seen the bravery of others during the year, I've got nothing to complain about & I don't really have an excuse not to push myself! 

The 'Kid's Cancer Charity' is a fantastic charity, giving families the chance to get away together and have a break from the routine of hospital appointments and treatment; time that I know to be so hugely important.
