Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. My name is Joanna Faith Warne and I am Miss West Lancashire Galaxy 2017/2018 competing in the final of Miss Galaxy England in March 2018. 

On the 29th July 2018 in Yorkshire I will be doing Tough Mudder which will be a 10 mile run with 20+ obstacles along the way. It won't be easy but I would love to challenge myself and raise as much money as I can for this amazing charity.

The Charity... The Christie is one of Europe's leading cancer centres, treating over 44,000 patients a year.  The Christie is based in Manchester and serves a population of 3.2 million across Greater Manchester & Cheshire, but  26% of patients are referred to them from other parts of the country. The Christie provides radiotherapy through one of the largest radiotherapy departments in the world; chemotherapy on site and through 10 other hospitals; highly specialist surgery for complex and rare cancer; and a wide range of support and diagnostic services. The Christie are also an international leader in research, with world first breakthroughs for over 100 years. The Christie charity raises money for a range of projects and initiatives focusing on 4 main areas which are research, care and treatment, education and extra patient services. All of which are above and beyond what the NHS provide enabling them to give their patients the best care and treatment possible. Donations have a great impact at the Christie and without the support of fundraising then they wouldn't be able to give their patients and their patients families the level of care and support that they provide. 

I would love to raise as much money as possible from now until July. Any donation no matter how small will be greatly appreciated as it all makes a difference.
