I am more than proud to be raising money for a Charity that is very close to my heart. As we all know, Breast Cancer is becoming far too common and stories that unfortunately we have all heard can be nothing but heartbreaking. We also hear stories with happier outcomes,  I hope one day there are many many more stories like that and a 'cure' can be found for everyone at any stage of Breast Cancer they may be diagnosed with.

I am happy to write that my Mum is a Breast Cancer Surviour, and I am sure that on the day of the big Marathon, Mum will cross my mind more than once or twice with the constant realization that we are fortunate to still have her with us.

Another reason I picked this amazing Charity to run for is because for the last year I  have helped support my very dear friend throughout her Breast Cancer Treatment and have seen how devastating this disease can be for Women, their Families, Parents and Friends. To have my best buddie at the finish line will be a happy day for us all.

My target is £1500, with a goal of £2,000. Every little penny helps and when the time comes to hand over the Cheque to The Breast Cancer Campaign I will be more than proud of myself and of all of you who have helped me to raise money for my Charity. XXXX
