This event is to mark the first anniversary of our beloved Ben Craig. Ben, age 16, impacted absolutely everybody he ever met, he was never seen without a cheeky smile on his face. He was truly and deeply loved by so many people, it was hard not to love such a bubbly, kind, loving, confident and handsome young man, who overall was unique. Ben had an extreme passion for sports, horses and racing, he could talk for hours on the subject. To lose someone that you love so deeply to suicide at such young age is incredibly heartbreaking and devastating.

There is a group of Bens family and friends, who are going to attempt to walk the Yorkshire three peaks on Easter Sunday, the 16th of April 2017. The Yorkshire three peaks are based in the Yorkshire dales and are 24 miles long. All donations will go towards PAPYRUS.

PAPYRUS is the national charity for the prevention of young suicide. They deliver awareness and presentation training, provide confidential support and suicide intervention through HOPElineUK. Suicide is the biggest killer of young people, both men and women, under 35 in the UK, and we want to be a part of the solution that will help address this issue so that no one else is forced to face the pain, numbness and heartache that we have experienced.
