As running just isnt enough any more (!!) I have decided to try doing a Duathlon (run 3k/cycle 10k/run 3k) on June 26th in Bristol in aid of BUST, Breast Cancer Unit Support Trust, the Bristol based charity founded by patients for patients to support the work of the Frenchay Hospital Breast Care Centre.

Approximately 44,000 women and 300 men are diagnosed annually with Breast Cancer in the UK. One in nine women in the UK will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. You can help BUST to raise funds to support the work of the Frenchay Hospital Breast Care Team to improve diagnosis, treatment and research for people in the Bristol area with breast problems.

Frenchay Hospital provide a 'one stop shop' for anyone who finds a lump in their breast - you are seen, diagnosed, given the results in the same day - usually in a matter of hours.  This means that treatment can start as soon as possible if you should need it.

Having had past experience of the the breast cancer clinic at Frenchay I thought I would like to help raise funds and awareness for such a great cause that is close to home, so please donate whatever you can, thank you very much.
