I am running the London Marathon for Seafarers UK.  It is an event I always thought wonderful but way beyond my abilities.  I am going to complete this race with a smile on face the whole way and raise as much money as possible for a charity that is close to my heart.  I have run a couple of half marathons but never more that the 13.2 miles.  The training will be tough, tough, tough but I like nothing more than having a target and a challenge.

Seafarers UK are a wonderful charity that i support both professionally and personally.  They support seafarers and their families in times of need and hardship, which are far more than you can ever imagine.  Take a look at their website for more information.
