Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In October 2017, I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route. The total climb will take 8 days and will mean I will have to camp outside in tents for the duration. Those that know me, know I prefer glamping over camping!

I, along with 39 others including my sister and Linzi Prescott, will be climbing Mt Kilimanjaro and setting a new Guiness World Record for the highest altitude game of football ever played.

I am very excited but also very nervous about the challenge. I'm absolutely dreading the altitude sickness and missing my two boys Tarnay & Teina, but I know the pain and sickness will be worth it to raise funds and awareness for the Steve Prescott Foundation. Steve was an inspirational man, who I admired greatly. I was lucky enough to call Stephen a friend.

Through completing this challenge I am looking to raise £5,000 for the Steve Prescott Foundation. Any support however small will be gratefully received.

Thanks for visiting.

Love

Jo xx

About the charity

The Steve Prescott Foundation was set up by a totally inspirational man Steve Prescott MBE. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer & sought out to raise funds for The Christie Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund. The SPF changes the lives of so many people.
