Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In November 2011 my Mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and was treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn.  The staff were incredible in the kindness and support they showed, making us feel that we were amongst friends during such a difficult time.

So that's why this year I will be running the Virgin London Marathon to raise money for the Breast Care Nurses (42120) and the Breast Cancer Unit Development (42221) Charitable Funds.  I want to help the staff to continue their vital work, so that they can give other Breast Cancer patients, their families and friends the same care, support and kindness that has been given to Mum and I.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
